The debris that the globe sees in the Gaza valley today possesses dreams of many students, youth of many youngsters, folklores of many mothers, rhymes of many children, the ambitions and hopes of many men that were transformed into ashes by the Israeli war crimes. By using these harmful weapons, Israel is committing crime to both humans and the environment by poisoning them with chemicals, nuclear debri and bombardment.

As per Al-Jazeera report, 68% of cropland has been made debris by Israel, enhancing the ecological damage and food insecurity in the region. Even, Gaza’s animals are suffering from countless agonies like injuries, starvation, lack of medicines and psychological trauma. Several local and international organizations are reporting that animals in captivity, on farms, in shelters, and in homes have been killed, injured, or displaced as a result of Israeli strikes. An international animal welfare-based organization, Four Paws, and many others are underscoring their miseries. Hence, innocent creatures including children and animals are paying the cost of satanic Zionism of Israel backed and funded by many big players of the world who claim themselves to be peace keepers of the world.

Referring to the infrastructural damages in the besieged Gaza, 92% of housing units are razed, as per Al-Jazeera report. Likewise, 80% of commercial facilities, 68% of road networks, 88% of educational institutions, and 55% of health care centers are wrecked by Israeli attacks.

These are, undoubtedly, horrific propositions, indicating the plight of Palestinians and failure of big organizations and hypocrisy of big powers in maintaining the global peace.

Additionally, the forced displacement of Palestinians by Israel is creating a demographic imbalance in the region of the Middle East, scaling up the refugee crisis. Israel has made the region a battle field, obstructing development and investment in the region, impacting the global economy. Many well-known global enterprises failed to stop war crimes of Israel, eroding the trust level between people and institutions.

The genocide of Israel in Palestine is threatening their national identity. According to social identity theory, if a nation or group of people are on the verge of identity crisis in this situation, they may resort to extreme means to preserve their identity, often through armed struggle as a form of compensation for the crisis. Hence, the assault of the rights of living beings and the environment by Israel would push the world into the cyclone of global war and vulnerabilities.

Many Jewish-American commentators like Dave smith, politicians like Bernie Sanders, Army veterans like captain Josephine Guilbeau and civilians like actor Michael malarkey are connotating Israeli government and AIPAC as an evil. Many of them are condemning AIPAC (the American Israel Public Affairs Committee) for its unnecessary influence in American politics, evaporating the real American values. Talking about the solutions to the crisis, several global agencies including the United Nations (UN) bodies, International Court of Justice (ICJ), International Criminal Court (ICC) and many others seem failed to ensure peace and justice within the world by not controlling the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza caused by Israel’s Zionism. However, this crisis requires a two-tier solution i.e. ceasefire and post-war rehabilitation program in Palestine.

First, imposing Arms embargo on Israel is the need of an hour so that it would not be able to conduct operations in Palestine by using weapons. Further, aforementioned international legal institutions must hold Israel accountable before international laws for its ferocious war crimes in Gaza. Also, pressure must be mounted on Israel for unimpeded supply of humanitarian aid in Gaza as Israel has halted even basic necessities like water, food, medicine etc., hazarding the lives of the living beings including animals.

Further, more states should recognize Palestine as a state in order to diminish the Zionist elements that wanted racial cleansing of Palestinians. Furthermore, to put economic pressure on the Israel, first and second sanctions must be imposed on it with the clauses of trade restrictions so that inhumane acts of Israel can stop. Such Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movements would build not only economic pressure but also political strain on the Israeli government. After the ceasefire, the rehabilitation of Palestine is of utmost importance. Even before the war the literacy rate in the region was low and the poverty rate was high. So, development, and investment in education and catering food insecurity is a pressing need. After the stability of the region, global institutions must think of one state solution, two states solution or confederation on which most of the world has consensus.
