Landlocked Afghanistan since ages is titled as warriors land because many world renowned conquerors like Alexander the Great, Mongols, Mughals, Persians emperors and Genghis Khan passed through it to  attack India. Afghanistan being a buffer precinct between Central Asian States (EX-Soviet Union), British India, enjoys strategically vital position since 1878-80. However, invaders including present superpowers to meet their objectives, cashed in on Afghan territory and ruined culturally richest inhabitants of Afghanistan in the last few decades.

As a result, its population of 36-50 million is facing continuous hardships specially, due to one of the biggest human crisis due to Russian invasion from December 1979 to February 1989 and NATO-American collaborated actions in the aftermath of 9/11.

Further adding, from 1947 till now, super powers along with regional players  through their world famous Intelligence agencies, CIA, KGB, ISI, RAW,  Iranian Intelligence agency and MOSSAD established their bases and fought their intelligence battles over here. For attaining their objectives, the Intelligence agencies recruited, trained, equipped and armed jobless Afghans and locals of neighbouring border belt countries.  America and her allies though remained successful in pushing back and disintegrating  Soviet Union but still they abandoned without consolidating the success achieved, which resulted in a devastated society, totally destabilized in Afghanistan.

However, after departure of NATO-US allied forces, Taliban came into power but failed to bring stability in Afghanistan.

In short, out of two daggers drawn super powers, one collapsed and the other super power twice withdrew her troops and left Afghanistan as an ungoverned land. US led NATO troops left behind worth $7 Billion dollars military arms and equipment before saying goodbye to Kabul. Notwithstanding, its neighbouring  regional countries  in particular Pakistan underwent TTP launched terrorism and suffered more than 83000 lives  and 35 Trillion Rupees just from 2001- 2022 according to NACTA (National Counter Terrorism Authority). From 1979 to 2024, due to the aforementioned invasions 3.3-5 million Afghan refugees  migrated to Pakistan. Afghan and local terrorist groups started operating hand in gloves with BLA against Pakistan. United Nations also confirmed the Afghan government’s involvement in terrorism. The report reveals Afghan Taliban continue to provide logistical support, operational space, and financial assistance to the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), contributing to terrorist attacks in Pakistan.

On the other hand, in the recently false flag Pahalgam incident, Pakistan condemned the killing of innocent tourists and offered proper investigation against Indian allegations over Pakistan involvement in the said attack. The world rejected the Indian stance of involving Islamabad in Pahalgam attack and asked India to tone down the situation that brought two nuclear powesr at the verge of war.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director, General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Jaffar Express clearance operation, launched a day after the train’s unprecedented hijacking in Balochistan, was complete. He added that all terrorists, 33 in total, at the site of the attack had been killed. Again on 12 April 25, Recently, BLA terrorists also killed 8 innocent Punjabi labourers  who were employed in a motor workshop located in the Iranian area of Sistan adjacent to  Pakistani province Balochistan.  On April 30, while addressing a press conference that India is doing state terrorism in Pakistan he exposed a conversation between serving Indian Major and terrorist Majeed.

The UN Security Council report of Analytical Support and Sanctions Monitoring Team, clearly stated the strength of TTP in Afghanistan and confirmed that more than 600 attacks were recorded in 2024 that include cross-border assaults launched from Afghan territory. In 2025, TTP and BLA in collaboration with RAW and Afghan Security Agency carried out 29 attacks and about 96 security and civilian individuals were martyred, 139 were injured and terrorists killed 110 in KPK and Baluchistan.

These weapons and devices are now in the possession of militant groups including the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and are being used in cross-border attacks targeting Pakistan.

Pakistan, time and again, raised the issue with UNO for pressurizing Afghan government and India to stop financing and supporting TTP and BLA but no positive indication has yet been noticed. To extinguish fire and bring peace and stability, it is imperative for regional, international players to sit down under UN umbrella and devise mechanisms to end on going terrorism, withdraw US left over arms and equipment from terrorists and markets, evict  terrorist training camps and militants hideouts. If they become successful in executing  the above mentioned  steps  then automatically, the same will help in elevating life of poorer people , improving  educational, health facilities and progressing economic conditions through speedy  development of infrastructures.
